If you didn’t receive an email, please check your spam or junk folders and make sure that OWEA has your most up-to-date information. If we don’t have a correct email, we can’t contact you. Mark your calendars now for the One Water 2024 Government and Regulatory Affairs workshop slated for Thursday, March 7 in Dublin at the Marriott Columbus Northwest. This joint effort of OAWWA and OWEA will feature regulatory updates and many hot topics relevant to both the wastewater and water industries. Are you wanting more information on the new agronomic rate calculations (ARC)? OWEA is teaming up with our sections and the OEPA to bring this information to your backyard. OEPA speakers will be traveling to each section for a half day workshop to cover the new ARC and other calculation and biosolids issues. While details are still be finalized, the workshops will be in March and April and more information will be available shortly.

Take your leadership to the next level. Join the Center for Water Security and Cooperation’s Water Access and Equity Lab as a Water Utility Leadership Fellow. Applications are due February 2. Water Utility Leadership Fellows will participate in interactive workshops to learn more about water access and the role of law and policy, meet fellow emerging water utility leaders and experts in the sector, develop new skills, support the completion of the American Water Access Survey (AWAS) in their community, and lead the development of a Water Access and Affordability Plan for their utility.
