You need to be proactive and protect your facility to the best of your ability. President Biden and White House experts have recently issued a detailed memo with advice to help protect your facility, along with a PowerPoint presentation. Please review both the memo and presentation concerning this issue as sent to OWEA by the Ohio EPA. Please forward these documents as appropriate. The OAWWA/OWEA competitions are just one additional item that has been modified for One Water this year. Normally both associations host their respective competitions on the Expo floor, however due to COVID challenges we have had to rethink competitions this year and are excited to announce the first annual “American Water Warrior” games! This brand new event will feature water and wastewater trivia and contact hours for anyone who watches or participates. All participants and winners will receive a prize. Plan now to be an American Water Warrior at One Water! Get outside and take a picture of your plant and plan on submitting it for the 2022 OWEA Calendar photo contest! Your facility is something to be proud of so show it off. July Monthly Webinar will Focus on Flow Measurement Plan on joining us at 10 am on Wednesday, July 14 for our Monthly Webinar. The July webinar will feature Mohit “Mo” Manglani of ABB Measurement. He will present “Advancements in Flow Measurement Technology.” This one hour webinar will focus on magnetic flow meters and best practices for installation and operation.
