Make sure you are registered to join more than 1,800 water and wastewater professionals at one of the largest gatherings in the Midwest – One Water! This year One Water will be held at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland, Ohio August 11-14, 2025.

This year’s One Water will feature a pre conference workshop focused on nutrients, exciting speakers, cutting edge tech sessions, a large expo hall with the latest services and products and of course some of the best networking you can experience! There will even be a great chance to see the city from above during our roof top happy hour.

The Water Environment Federation (WEF) is conducting a North America-wide survey to gather information on operator recruitment challenges, strategies, and workforce needs across water and wastewater utilities. This initiative supports WEF’s broader effort to address workforce shortages and inform national workforce development strategies.

WEF and the WateReuse Association have joined forces to bring you the Industrial Water Solutions Conference in Columbus, Ohio. Slated for June 23-25 this conference will convene water professionals for three days of innovative thinking and network building. The event will spotlight how industry and utilities can work together to build sustainable water management programs that recover resources, minimize waste, and unlock new value from water across the industrial lifecycle. The Ohio Domestic Action Plan Webinar is scheduled for July 2 from 2-4 pm. This will cover updates on actions being taken in Ohio to address targets set under the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement. The webinar will be recorded live and posting on the Ohio Lake Erie Commission YouTube channel after the event. You can register for the live event at the link below.

Full WEF membership is a perfect fit for many, especially those who attend WEF events and want to be part of a large national organization, while still being connected at the local level to OWEA.

Our State Only Membership is a less expensive, locally focused option that provides great benefits, including the Buckeye Bulletin, this newsletter and great discounts on section and state events, including One Water. The State Only membership carries no WEF benefits.
