Are Kids Aware of What Is Flushable?
The Ohio Water Environment Association put together a list of Do's and Don'ts to educate children on what's "flushable". Do Flush: Don't Flush: Pizza and cheese doodles Socks and underwear Cell phones and iPods Candy wrappers Rubber bands and hair Tissues and wipes Apples, oranges, or bananas Toothbrushes or plastic bottles Crayons and markers Balls, toys, or Legos Have You Used Your Knowledge and Expertise to Inform the Public?- Have you used your knowledge and expertise to inform the public how the wastewater plant protects the receiving stream?
