Am looking for an alternative chemical supplier for ferrous chloride. We use it for phosphorus control and aid in settling in our secondary settling tanks. We are located in northwest Ohio. Any ideas?

Iron or aluminum will perform in phosphorous control. The current producers/suppliers are as follows:
Iron (ferrous/ferric chloride and sulfate)
PVS Chemical
Kemira Reserve Solutions, Inc. Distributed by Bonded Chemical, SAL Chemical, Univar USA, and there are probably other suppliers in MI.
Aluminum Sulfate, PAC, Alunimum Choride, Aluminum ChloroHydrate, Sodium Aluminate, and blends with polymers:
Delta Chemical
General Chemical Aquamark US Alco Distributed by the same as above.
There are advantages and disadvantages of all product selections. If I can be of additional help (contacts), please call.
